"The Tooth Stool is named as such due to its resemblance to a tooth and the contemplation inspired by wisdom teeth. Typically appearing in adulthood, wisdom teeth symbolize an individual's "wisdom" and maturity. However, they are often unwelcome in modern life, as they are no longer necessary for chewing food and can cause inflammation and pain, leading to their extraction. In today's rapidly developing society, "wisdom" seems to be undervalued, much like wisdom teeth—a paradoxical and inevitable situation. The designer created the Tooth Stool with its thick, unrefined form to express his thoughts on modern society."
